If you have been recovering from an injury, experiencing a chronic condition, or have chronic pain, it can severely affect your lifestyle and keep you from being active. There are a lot of ways that you can improve your mobility, but it never hurts to compliment your medical treatment with recovery tools that could speed the healing process.

Our Elite Recovery Room has many tools to help you regain strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Here are some of your options.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy can be a great addition to your treatment for a chronic injury or pain. Not only does it reduce pain, it also reduces swelling and inflammation. In addition, it decreases muscle spasms. Although the cryo-chamber reaches extremely cold temperatures, you are only in the chamber for a few minutes, and it is completely safe.

Electrostimulation

In electrostimulation therapy, electric waves are sent through the treatment area. These waves stimulate muscles and nerves, but do not cause pain of any kind. Electrostimulation can be used to prompt muscle contraction, block pain receptors, and helps with neuromuscular reeducation.

Compression

Compression is an important part of recovery. Compression helps to increase circulation, reduce metabolic waste, and prevent further injury. You can use compression after a workout in our pilates area or after a session with the Power Plate.

Bodysound Chair

Once your other treatments in the Elite Recovery Room are complete, make sure that you are ready for the real world and higher activity levels. The Bodysound chair uses a combination of sound and vibration to induce a very relaxed and stress-free environment. It is a great way to end your visit with us.

Of course, we have massage and chiropractic services, as well as physical therapy services, to ensure that you are recovering from your injury quickly. Contact us today for more information or to schedule your appointment.
