by | Oct 10, 2020 | The Rubin Chiropractic Health Center Blog

Anyone with a chronic condition has a fair amount of inflammation in their body. You might think that inflammation is only linked to swelling of an injury, but it is actually responsible for several other symptoms. Inflammation is why many conditions have some of the same symptoms.

While not all conditions are inflammatory in nature, inflammation can result from the stress of those conditions. It makes sense that inflammatory disorders would be treated with anti-inflammatory measures, but other conditions can benefit from these therapies as well. Although they may not benefit the condition itself, the treatments will be able to resolve some of the symptoms to improve quality of life.

  • Asthma
  • Tuberculosis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Periodontal disease (gum disease)
