Theralight 360 can be used for treatment of a number of issues, each with their own treatment recommendations that work for most patients with that particular condition. For most chronic illnesses that cause inflammation in the body, the Theralight 360 can be very effective for reducing pain, swelling, and discomfort.
Theralight low laser therapy isn’t meant to be done once or twice. Several treatments are needed in the beginning, and you’ll want to continue treatments periodically as long as they are beneficial. Here are the guidelines that make the most sense for most patients with chronic illness.
First Two Weeks
You will undergo rigorous treatment in the first two weeks of your Theralight treatment plan. Two to three treatments per week for the two peek period are standard for most chronic illnesses. This intensive treatment plan will quickly reduce inflammation and, therefore, pain and swelling as well.
Following Two Weeks
During the third and fourth weeks you will get just one or two treatments per week, depending on how your symptoms are improving. You will get down to one treatment per week before going into a maintenance pattern.
Indefinite Maintenance
Once you have the inflammation and related symptoms under control, you can shift into a maintenance treatment of one session every other week. If you have a flare you can always get additional treatments for a few weeks as needed.
