In Afferent Neoroproprioceptive Adjusting, or AFN, our doctors use a specific machine called Arthrostim. The repetitive tapping produced by the Arthrostim causes the muscle groups around joints to relax, which allows the doctors to do a more effective manipulation to that joint with less force and allows it to hold for a longer duration.
When combined with our chiropractic manipulation, the AFN assists in increasing the patient’s positive response to the treatment by breaking down barriers to proper biomechanics.
